Overview By Light is seeking a Network Administrator to support the SEITS program where we provide comprehensive enterprise Information Technology (IT) services and support for the U.S. Army's Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC) activities world-wide. This includes the headquarters main network-centric hub located at Scott AFB, IL and outport locations across the United States, including Hawai'i. We provide support in the areas of task order management; information assurance/cyber security; content/knowledge management; help desk; video teleconferencing, multimedia/graphics design; system administration, operations and maintenance; network engineering and administration, firewall administration; ADPE inventory; and web development. Responsibilities Serve as network administrator including responsibility for installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting LAN components such as L2 & L3 switches Maintain network security through proper configuration of Cisco ASA, firewalls, and VPN concentrators Create and troubleshoot network maps, and monitor network problems concerning connectivity failures with the HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP, SSL, and other protocols Consolidate, collect, configure, and review system audit logs within a Solaris operating system Manage Blue Coat ProxySG, including editing policy and services Manage Palo Alto firewalls Identify the need to upgrade or enhance network component capabilities in response to network problems and deficiencies; e.g., degradation of service Implement approved IAVA through IAVM Program Assist in solving network connectivity issues Perform unix/linux administration to include application installation and user administration May require remote work and odd hours as needed to support customer. Required Experience/Qualifications Cisco VPNs and firewalls Cisco IOS XE and NXOS Knowledge of networking protocols SolarWinds NPM & NCM Syslog-NG Blue Coat ProxySG Palo Alto firewalls Preferred Experience/Qualifications Able to make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery Anyconnect VPN Cisco ASA Cisco ISE Special Requirements/Security Clearance Clearance Level (Required to Start):
